Death by Bleeding.. a response

Ah, my dear Ann. Does that make me the pessimist? I'd like to think I'm neither and merely a realist. But, I'm sure there's a gaggle of psychologists out there willing to tell me to get off the fence and pick a side.

Ann's right though. The changes are getting annoying and the bleeding is making us weary. But, as frustrating as it can be, there's a small part of me that likes arguing with these people over money. I've won some and lost some, and through it, I seem to have found my place in the process. Ann's much better at managing the to-do list and I guess I'm responsible for managing the piggy bank.

I'm not as skeptical over the contractor earning his money back. Only a few of these changes have been misquotes or oversights. We did after-all agree to the more expensive windows and stone. But, when the contractor completely misses the specs for cabinetry or the chimney, he's definitely taking it on the chin.

The end is near though. More and more of the finished products are going in and that's exiting. I'll get some more of those pics up soon. I'm off to brave the snow on the way to look at granite over lunch. Ah, good times....
